SHIPPING POLICY
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through the KÏORA online store.
1. Order preparation
After the order has been confirmed and paid for, KÏORA prepares and ships the products to the address provided by the customer when placing the order.
Orders are generally prepared within 10 to 20 business days from confirmation of payment.
This period may be longer for products made or prepared to order. The applicable period is then indicated on the product page or when placing the order.
Orders are neither prepared nor shipped on weekends or public holidays.
2. Delivery areas
KÏORA currently ships orders to:
-
Metropolitan France
-
International
The available destinations are indicated when placing the order.
KÏORA reserves the right to limit or modify the delivery areas offered.
3. Delivery methods and charges
The available delivery methods and their prices are displayed when the order is placed, before payment.
Delivery charges may vary depending on:
-
the destination;
-
the weight and/or volume of the order;
-
the chosen delivery method;
-
any free delivery offers proposed by KÏORA.
The exact amount of the delivery charges is indicated to the customer before the final confirmation of the order.
4. Delivery times
The delivery period depends on the chosen mode of transport and the destination.
The estimated period applicable to the order is communicated to the customer before the order is confirmed.
In accordance with applicable regulations, in the absence of an indication of a specific period, KÏORA undertakes to deliver the product no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract.
In the event of a delivery delay, the customer may request that KÏORA make the delivery within a reasonable additional period.
If KÏORA fails to comply with this additional period, the customer may, under the conditions provided by law, terminate the contract.
When the delivery date constituted an essential condition of the contract or when permitted by applicable law, the customer may also directly exercise their right to terminate the contract.
5. Order tracking
When the selected delivery method allows tracking, a tracking number may be provided to the customer after the order has been shipped.
Tracking is carried out via the relevant carrier.
The customer is invited to regularly check the tracking information until their parcel is delivered.
6. Delivery address
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when placing the order.
Before confirming the purchase, the customer must in particular verify:
-
its last name;
-
its first name;
-
its address;
-
its postal code;
-
its city;
-
their country;
-
any additional information necessary for delivery.
Once the order has been shipped, KÏORA cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be modified.
In the event of an error in the address provided by the customer, the consequences and any additional costs associated with that error may be charged to the customer within the limits permitted by law.
7. Damaged parcel
Upon receipt of the parcel, the customer is advised to check its apparent condition.
If the parcel appears to be severely damaged, the customer may, where possible, immediately report the situation to the carrier and retain any evidence that may establish the condition of the parcel.
The customer must also contact KÏORA via the contact form stating their order number and, if possible, attaching photographs of the parcel and/or product.
Failure to make reservations with the carrier does not deprive the consumer of the rights afforded by the legal guarantees.
8. Parcel not received
If the customer has not received their order within the announced timeframe, they must contact KÏORA so that an investigation can be conducted with the carrier.
KÏORA may request from the customer the information necessary to process the request.
Where KÏORA's liability is incurred, it will take the necessary measures in accordance with the applicable regulations.
9. Parcel returned to KÏORA
Where a parcel is returned to KÏORA due to an incorrect or incomplete address, a prolonged absence, or a refusal to accept delivery attributable to the customer, KÏORA will contact the customer to determine the arrangements for reshipment or refund.
Where the reshipment results from an error by the customer, additional delivery charges may be requested before reshipment.
10. International delivery
For orders shipped outside France, fees, taxes, customs duties, or other formalities may apply depending on the destination country.
These charges may be borne by the customer when they are not included in the price displayed when the order is placed.
The customer is advised to inquire about any customs obligations applicable in their country before placing an order.
11. Force majeure
KÏORA shall not be held liable for any delay or inability to deliver resulting from an event of force majeure or an event reasonably beyond its control.
This may include certain natural disasters, major transport disruptions, strikes, administrative restrictions, or events affecting postal or delivery services.
KÏORA will inform the customer as soon as possible when any of these events is likely to affect their order.
